In the seventeenth day they were to port, where it unloaded the vehicles. On receiving the vehicles, Sérgio Holanda noted that his Toyota was with two torn cap of homo kinetics. This forced them to seek a workshop.

This forced the adventurers leave of Santarém very late, toward the next city, Uruará.

It happens at 14:30 am under a lot rain.

They traveled 80 km on asphalt. 150 km of dirt road remains until Uruará.

The Trans-Uruará is a highway built by lumberjacks in the region. According to local information, the road was in good conditions, because had been reformed recently. For this reason, the participant Sérgio Holanda decided to use AT tires.

But the choice was incorrect. Because the rains, the road was in precarious conditions, and in the first mud bog your Hilux was mired. In the same time, Sergio was found the traction of your pick-up did not work.

First they move back the Hilux, using the Troller, then:

" I accelerate the car with plenty of speed. In a better place under heavy rain, I disassemble the front wheel. I saw that the mechanic put a part incorrectly. I did the repair there, and follow road. But now hear a noise in homo kinetic left, and that noise increases at every moment. The solution was to turn off the traction 4x4 again "

"More a few kilometers ahead, begins the path with much clay. I coupling the 4x4 traction, and even then the car slide over the curves. On the first heavy mud pit, the Hilux mired and not leaves, I heard a strong noise. . At this time I thought: the traction 4x4 was ruined."

'The Troller pulled the Hilux again. It was not mired completely, but a mud flat, does not let go out. There I felt a lack of suitable tires for the terrain, and 4x4 traction. The Hilux has stayed with the redemption band in front, and in some mud holes already passed the two cars locked. At this time we have seen how strong is the whole of Troller Jeep, and extensive experience of the pilot Volmir at least some 40 years of direction."

95 km to arrive in Uruará, they found a truck driver, Your truck was plunged in the mud for 5 days. "Saw many truck drivers in this situation."

We took a ride for him and two other colleagues, to a village." Certainly those companions of roads were thankful after so many days in the bush."

The adventurers arrived in Uruará at 12:00 pm. 6 hours to go 80 km!

From Altamira until Uruará, they traveled 200 km, under heavy rain, but the road was good. In the final 50 km, before arriving at Altamira had asphalt (part of the project to the asphalting of Transamazônica)

In the Nineteenth day, participants leaves Altamira early, 07:00 am. They traveled 500 kilometers to Marabá.

They arrived at 20:00 pm.

In Marabá happened the farewell of the two adventurers and the return to your homes.
They dine in a restaurant, a Tucunaré fish, invitation by Volmir and Irene, and did a toast to the end of the expedition.

In the morning after, each one followed the course of your home. "For us, the Transamazônica 2009 Expedition came to end"

With much sucess The Transamazônica Expedition is finished. There was many kilometers of adventure, many beautifull landscapes, stories and living experiences, in the middle of jungle.

Congratulations to all adventurers for the team spirit that enable the successful completion of the adventure.
